Objectives:
 to revise vocabulary on the topic;
 to develop students’ speaking, reading and listening skills;
 to generalize and enlarge students’ knowledge about hobbies and interests;
 to encourage students’ to communicate in English.
Outcomes: by the end of the lesson students will be able to speak about their tastes in
music.
Equipment: student book “Wider World”, a classboard, audio, laptop.

- It is very useful to play musical instruments. We have read the text “Why do we
play musical instruments?” This text tells us about benefits of playing the musical
instruments. Find and read these benefits. Try to use firstly, secondly, thirdly, what`s
is more, finally.
IV. PRACTICE
- Why do you want to play the musical instrument? Look at the text. As for me, I
want to play the piano because it`s good for relaxing. What about you?
