Media Assistant Spring 2018 – Spring 2020
● Oversaw the school’s library circulation system (Mandarin 5) by cataloging an existing collection of books that
boosted student engagement with the resources provided.
● Labeled books with their AR level to allow students to choose reading material by grade and ability.

● Updated the circulation system to include AR levels for all books and all students;

● Offered students guidance and recommendations if they were unsure of which book to borrow.

● Reorganized the shelves; ordered by non-fiction/fiction and alphabetized

● Created a HyperDoc file for the third-grade ocean unit, which listed a variety of websites all aimed at different
reading levels, for the students to do their research.
● Analyzed state standards for math and social studies; produced reports for teachers; ordered new books according
to these standards/grade level/ability level.
