16 slip 1, k2, k2tog, k1, turn
17 slip 1. k3, k2tog, k1, turn
18 slip 1, k4, k2tog, k1, turn
19 slip 1, k5, k2tog, k1, turn
20 slip 1, k6, k2tog, k1, turn
21 slip 1, k7, k2tog, k1, turn
22 slip 1, k2, k2tog, k1, k2tog, k1, k2tog, k1, turn
23 slip 1, k7, k2tog, k3, turn
24 slip 1, k4, k2tog, k1, k2tog, k1, k2tog, k3, turn
Supplies
25 k1, cast off next 11 sts, k to end
Size 3 knitting needles
50 yards (about half of a skein) Tahki Cotton Classic Yarn
Yarn needle Strap/Back
2 Small buttons K9, cast on 13 sts.
Only working with these 22 sts (leave 9 remaining sts on
Abbreviations other needle)
St(s)- Stitch (es) 1 k across
K- Knit 2 k19, cast off next st, k to end
M1- Make one
3 k2, cast on 1 st, k to end
With tip of the needle, lift strand between last stitch
4 k across
knitted and next stitch on left-hand needle, place strand on left-
hand needle and knit into the back of it to increase one stitch. Cast off all 22 sts.
tog- Together
Working on remaining 9 sts, attach yarn and knit 6 rows.
Sole/Sides Cast off all 9 sts.
Cast on 31 sts. Work in Garter St (knit every row) throughout
Row Weave in all loose ends. Sew up back of shoe and sole.
1 k across Attach small button to side opposite strap.
2 k3, m1, k12, m1, k1, m1, k12, m1, k3
3 k across Work Second shoe in same manner except turn shoe
4 k3, m1, k13, m1, k3, m1, k13, m1, k3 inside out before sewing up.
