Session Title: Intercultural Relationhipss: Finding Love Beyond Borders
Session At the end of the session, learners will be able to:
Objectives: a) Understand Intercultural Relationships;
b) Know the importance of communication in building good
relationships between people;
c) Determine the factors that make people of different races attract and
build relationships with one another.
d) Give ways how to communicate effectively and how to respect people
from different culture
Key Concepts: 1. Intercultural relations are relations between groups or individuals from
different cultures.
2. In this era of globalization, people are traveling across geographical,
national, and cultural boundaries as never before. For many,
establishing relationships with people different from ourselves can be
challenging and rewarding. Social media can greatly affect self-esteem
by promoting a culture of social comparison.

3. The benefits of intercultural relationships span differences in gender,


age, ethnicity, race, class, nationality, religion, and much more. The
moment you begin an intercultural relationship is the moment you
begin to learn more about the world
