Wordpress Vs
Wordpress Vs
ZOHO SITES
COMPARISON SHEET
Final Thoughts After researching both the pros and cons of WordPress and Zoho
Sites, my final recommendation is that CareMaster move forward with
the planned transition to the Zoho platform. The key factors that led
me to this decision included Cost, Cross-platform Compatibility, and
SEO Integration. Beginning with cost, at only $204 per year, Zoho Sites
is the clear leader. WordPress is significantly more expensive at
$1,140 per year. Based on my analysis, I do not feel that CareMaster
would get much extra value for the additional money spent on the
WordPress platform. Next, I was intrigued that Zoho sites supported
plugins developed by major brands such as Google and Intuit.
Integration with Google Workspace will be beneficial, as we already
use many of the Google products. Intuit Mailchimp could also serve us
well in the future if we wanted to send mass emails to our customers
about current promotions. While I do not have prior experience with
Intuit Mailchimp, I am proficient in the competitor platform, Constant
Contact. I am a fast learner, and would be happy to learn this platform
down the road if needed. Finally, I felt that the SEO Integration on the
Zoho platform was much stronger than on WordPress. It stood out to
me that Zoho offered premium SEO Integration built in, with no added
cost. WordPress does offer SEO Integration included, but experts
recommend purchasing the Yoast SEO add-on for best results. While
the Yoast add-on is only $9.00 a month, it will add up fast. One year of
Yoast already runs CareMaster an extra $108 that I don’t feel is
necessary to spend, especially when Zoho offers a better feature for
free. In closing, I recommend that CareMaster move forward with the
transition to the Zoho platform. I am excited to see what our brand
will accomplish on Zoho!
