PROBLEM AND SETTING
INTRODUCTION
Being an employee at Dole involves various aspects that contribute to job
satisfaction and effective time management. Based on the reviews on the glass door,
Dole Philippines has an overall rating of 4.2 out of 5, which shows a generally positive
work environment. 71% of employees would recommend working at Dole Company to a
friend, and 70%have a positive outlook for the business. This indicates a high level of
job satisfaction among the employees.
The findings of the study will be used to strengthen the competency of the employee to
revised their outlook in life and it will reinforce their perceptions of flexibility of a career
option
The research will be conducted at Dole Philippines company the researcher will
be using a questionnaire as a guide to answer the question needed in the study. This
study will be conducted on the 2nd semester of S. Y 2023-2024.
Statement of the problem
Specifically the research will aim to find answer to the following question:
1.)What is the demographic profile of the Dole employee of Brgy, Maligo in terms of;
1.1 Sex;
1.2 Age;
1.3 Tribe?
4.)Is there a significant relationship between job satisfication level of the respondents
and their time management.
Null Hypothesis
The job satisfactory level and time management of Dole employees. This study will be
conducted at Barangay Maligo any employee of Dole Philippines with using purpose
sampling the month of this shall be conducted on April 2024.
Significant of the study
This study can provide insights into what factors contributes to job satisfaction
among Dole employees of barangay maligo Polomolok, south cot. Regarding
geographical employees. Theis could lead to be tter allocation of resources, improved
service delivery, and ultimately, higher level of satisfaction among the public who rely on
Dole’s service specially this research is beneficial to the ff. Person and organization;
Employees: This studies on compliance with Dole and labor standards can guide
employees in understanding the relevant laws, regulation, and procedures, enabling
them to undertake self- assessments or audits of their state of compliance;
Government: The study about Dole management is highly significant for the
government as it can provide valuable insight into the potential risk and impact of such
casualties by understanding the different types of Dole management can prepare &
implement Dole management plans more efficiently;
Future researcher: The significance of the study has huge impact on future
researchers as it provides numerous benefits and insight to the field of Dole
management here are some of the significance
Definition of terms
The department of labor and employment (DOLE)in the Philippines is the primary
policy- making, programming, coordinating, and administrative entity in the field of labor
and employment. It’s responsible for implementing policies and programs to promote
gainful employment opportunities, maintain industrial peace and improve working
conditions.
1.Employee Rights: As an employee in the Philippines, you are entitled to different
types of paid leaves, such as service incentive leave, maternity leave, paternity leave,
and more.
2.Labor code: This includes any controversy or matter concerning terms and conditions
of employment or the association or re presentation of persons in negotiating, fixing,
maintaining, changing, or arranging the terms and conditions of employment.
3.Worker’s statutory monetary Benefits: This refers to the benefits that an employee
is entitled to receive under the law, including health and safety facilities, meal and snack
allowances, and more.
