WRITING ABOUT PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Decide the topic and brainstorm if the topic is not chosen for you (answer the 5W1H questions)

Structure your writing; arrange it into a narrative (introduction, the story, and closing)

Use vivid details so the readers could imagine it. Make the words lively and descriptive.

Add cohesive devices/transitions to support the flow of your writing.

Include a dialogue if possible.

Reread the story. Highlight anything that might not be necessary to the story and consider
deleting any unnecessary information.

Proofread your writing. Is there any grammar/spelling/punctuation mistakes?
