1. Being the leader of Red Indians, Chief Seattle and his fellow men had high regard for the
environment and they were grateful to mother nature for being a sympathizer and
protecting them from various threats. In his speech, Chief Seattle highlighted the
importance of conserving nature. Imagine yourself to be the leader of your class and write
a speech of about (300 to 400 words) on how Chief Seattle’s concern for nature still holds
relevance in the 21st century in order to create awareness among your friends. Also,
mention the consequences of exploiting nature and provide some realistic solutions to the
problem. You may quote some renowned personalities or environmentalists to support
your answer.
