1. Technical Synopsis
a.Objectives/Expected output: The study aims to determine the

academic and non-academic predictors of pharmacists'
licensure examination performance of CEU Malolos BS
Pharmacy chosen graduates from 2018-2022.
b.Literature review rationalizing the design: Accountancy

graduates' academic performance, aspirations, attitudes, and
study habits revealed high hopes and a positive attitude
towards the accounting program (Tan, 2014). However,
inconsistent UEP performance in Practical Accounting suggests
a lack of practical application and hands-on experience.
Marilen Pacis et al.'s study revealed that National University-
Manila BSN graduates achieved a high score of 83.99% in the
Nurse Licensure Examination, surpassing the National Passing
Rate of 46.95%. It was found that no significant impact of
students' scholastic abilities on board exam performance
(Galvez, 2021). Field work and training for counselors
significantly influence results, suggesting alignment of
education program objectives and assessment tests. The study
by Tapong, Banawis, Fabiala, and Gallega reveals that female
engineering graduates outperform males in scholastic, review,
and licensure exams, with higher average performance
influencing licensure performance.
c.Research design: The CEU Malolos Department of Pharmacy

provided all the data that was required for the research, which
was conducted using a descriptive methodology.
d. Sampling design, sample size: The researcher selects respondents

randomly using the Raosoft calculator sampling approach.
e.Inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria, withdrawal criteria: N/A
f.Data collection plan: The lists of the graduates is to be obtained

from the Office of the University Registrar, the scores of the
graduates who took the licensure examination is to obtained
from the Professional Regulatory Commission through request
from the department, and with the permission of the program
head.
g.Specimen collection and processing plan (including plans for

specimen storage and duration of storage): N/A
h.Data analysis plan (including statistical basis for design, as

applicable): Researchers will use a descriptive approach to
survey respondents, analyzing graduation year and academic
achievements, to evaluate their performance in the Pharmacists
Licensure Examination from 2018-2021.
i.Rationalization for choice of study site (including capacity of site

to address known risks of study protocol, such as availability of
equipment and facilities, as applicable) (Cross reference

having flashbacks with regards to the participants’ personal
experiences.
d. Benefits of the study: It will analyze the factors affecting the

performance of board takers in the licensure examination.

The compensation would be an in kind cash, using Gcash as
the platform of sending the money.

respondents are to be provided with adequate information
regarding to what they are about to participate in, with
proper consent acknowledgement.
