If you had selected User Defined Keyboard from the combo box, then in
addition to viewing and printing you can also customize the
keyboard by choosing to place a particular Urdu/Arabic character on
a particular key. This allows you to completely redefine the keyboard
as per your choice. To define your own keyboard layout, carry out the
following steps—
- First import the suitable keyboard layout. Thus, you can
derive your keyboard from a set of existing keyboards like
Monotype®, Aftab, Phonetic etc.

 - Select an Urdu character from the rows of cells and update
the Unicode value. Repeat the above steps till you have
placed all the Urdu characters as per your requirements.
