Dear Michael,

Very bizarre and disappointed to hear acquiesced to Andrew Ryan's request. Everything else he
says and does is a lie so why would anyone believe him straightface? "shakes head"

But this is consistent with his emotionally fragile ego and other known desperate PR management to scrub all
negative mentions about him from the Internet using threats, bribes, and special pleading. Elizabeth Holmes
and Theranos did the very same trying desperately to remove Glassdoor reviews and hunt down the ex-
employees who had the courage to tell the truth. Andrew Ryan is the Elizabeth Holmes of the startup and
venture capital communities. I would say he deserves to share the same jail cell with her but a known pervert
and sexual predator like him should be kept out of women's prisons.

On a related note, I highly recommend reading Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by Jon
Carrreyrou. I read it following my departure from Newchip and couldn't help but experience déjà vu as the
behaviors of frauds and con artists follow virtually the same patterns.

Frauds, liars, and tyrants cannot stand being exposed to the Truth. In the words of Supreme Court Justice
Louis Brandeis, "Sunlight is a powerful disinfectant."

I appreciate you re-publishing our accounts and calling out Andrew Ryan again for his attempted censorship.
Keep them on the Internet for eternity to remind everyone what kind of immoral character he really is.

In the meantime, if you haven't done so already, make sure to beef up the security around your Substack,
social media, email, and other accounts. Keep extra copies of everything you've written and have at least
another one other trusted individual who can continue our just cause should the worst ever happen.
