INTRAMURALS ’23 – ’24 OPENING
Implementing Rules and Regulations

I. General Rules and Regulations

A. Attendees
Participants of the competition must be a bonafide student of Andres Bonifacio College
and are able to compete. Teams will consist of thirty (30) to fifty (50) selected students strictly
coming from the respective department.

B. Setting
The activity will commence at Amando Amatong Civic Center/ School Gymnasium.
Participants must arrange and ready themselves at the lower bleachers. Take note that the
remaining students will take their respective seats at the upper bleachers only.

C. Time Duration
Each department will be given three (3) to five (5) minutes to show off their noisiest
cheering performance. Allotted time will be highly monitored and participants must be observant
otherwise, penalty will become a burden.

D. Mechanics
1. Each department must select their participants and create a group which contains 30 to
50 individuals. Contestants should proceed to the lower bleachers and prepare themselves
before the competition will start. 1 entry per department.
2. Script of the cheering must be original. Creativity is encouraged.
3. The minimum length of the performance is three (3) minutes and a maximum of five
(5) minutes. Teams who go beyond or fall short based on the time provided will be
penalized. Every thirty seconds will get a one (1) point deduction from the total score.
4. Beatbox and drums (other percussion instruments) are allowed. No recorded sound
effects.
5. Recycled props are allowed but they should be hand props only.
6. Offensive and vulgar words are strictly prohibited. Non-locomotor movements are
highly encouraged. The decision of the judges is final.
