Task2

1. Some countries achieve international success, building specialized sports facilities

for top athletes to train instead of providing sports facilities that everyone can use. Is
it a positive or negative development?

From my perspective, it’s the negative development, each athlete is like general
people when they are just the beginner, thus, if only take care at the top athletes, the
country’s teenager or basic athletes can not training completely and appropriately,
then when the elder athletes get retired, there is no competitive athletes can take
over, cause the country sports are on the slide.

And another thing is that everyone has the rights for improving themselves for
health. So, every government shouldn’t sacrifice general people to satisfy the top
athletes. Both civilians and athletes are significant, to fix those problems, maybe can
try to evaluate the population and athletes’ proportion, for balancing specialized
sports facilities and general facilities.
