- A phrase that acts like a
noun in the sentence.
- It contains a noun and other
related words which modify
the noun.

Determiner – is a
word used at the
beginning of a noun to
indicate which thing you
are referring to.
Ex. a, an, the

word or group of
words that modifies a

adjective.
