Job satisfaction plays an indispensable role in motivating employees to be

more committed to their job and work more effectively. Moreover, it makes a great
contribution to the personal wellbeing because individuals spend most of their time
performing tasks at workplace. Therefore, levels of manager should find ways to
increase satisfaction of job for their subordinates.
Managers can apply job rotation: swapping workers round to do a specific
job for a limited time before swapping round again. Obviously, there are always
plenty of boring, repetitive and mechanical jobs and lots of unskilled workers who
have to do them. However, doing four different repetitive is absolutely better than
doing only one. Besides, managers can give workers some responsibilities, not as
an individual but as part of team. For example, some supermarkets combine office
staffs, the people who fill in the shelves and the people who work on checkout tills
into a team and let them decide what products to stock, how to display them and so
on.
However, it is difficult to imagine a world in which everyone is truly
satisfied with their job. Most people work for a living, and they would probably
not choose to spend 8 or 12 hours per do to work if they can not earn money or
they can perform a duty that they do not take an interest in it as long as they can
make a living, especially in an increasingly competitive labor market nowadays.
Besides, pressure to meet the deadline or KPI is an unavoidable factor in
workplace that completely is
In summary, job satisfaction acts as an important role in workplace.
Therefore, employers should implement appropriate policies to improve
employees’ productivity and their quality of life as much as possible
