General Advisory:
To get good yield of the crop, it is very beneficial to keep the field vacant in summer season by doing
deep plowing immediately after harvesting of Rabi crop. Summer plowing begins after the Rabi season
crops are harvested, ending when the rainy season begins. Summer plowing is done from April to June,
as far as possible the farmer brothers should do summer plowing with soil turning plow immediately
after the Rabi crop is harvested. Due to moisture being conserved in the soil of the field, oxen and
tractors have to work less hard. It is beneficial to plow the fields this month with a soil turning plough.
Soil turning plow or tractor driven equipment can also be used for ploughing. Due to this, along with
the soil of the lower layer, weed seeds, germs of diseases, eggs etc. come up, which die due to the heat
of the sun. This reduces the number of weeds and insects. Along with this, the absorption of rainwater in
the soil increases and the fertility of the soil also improves.

With this, seeds and grains can be kept healthy and safe for a long time. Seeds and
Crop(Varieties) Crop Specific Advisory
grains should be dried properly before storage, because the major pests that cause
damage during storage are weevil or small borer (Rhizopertha Dominica), Khapra
beetle (Trogoderma granarium), Sundwali aphid (Sytophilus oryzae), rice weevil.
There are outbreaks of moth (Corcyra cephaloniki), grain moth (Cytotroga cerealella),
pulse moth (Callosobruchus maculatus) and flour moth (Tribolium castaneum) etc. The
incidence of pests increases due to excess moisture. Cereal crops should be stored only
when their moisture content is 8-10 percent and pulses and oilseed crops should have
6-8 percent moisture. It has been found that at the time of storage, if the moisture in
the seeds of grain crops is more than 10-12 percent, they are prone to insect
infestation, if there is more than 14-15 percent, they are prone to fungus and if there is
more than 15 percent moisture, they do not germinate well. Finds.

Horticulture Specific Advisory:

Horticulture(Varieties) Horticulture Specific Advisory
Cut off 3/4th of the branches of the new growth of guava on which flowers are
growing. Due to this, the rainy season crop will reduce but the Rabi crop will
increase. Keep irrigating guava at an interval of 10-15 days. By spraying 10
GUAVA percent urea at the flowering stage at an interval of 10-15 days, 3-8 times more
crop is obtained in the Zaid season. Guava crop flowers from March to May.
Its crop is available from August to mid-October. To control bloom in guava,
spray 10 percent urea solution on the flowers in April and May.
Due to heat, proper water management is necessary. Horticulture crops should
MANGO be irrigated as per requirement at an interval of 10-12 days. Pruning should be
