School-Based UNITED NATIONS Celebration 2021

The School-Based United Nations Celebration 2021 with the Theme “International Year of Peace
and Trust Elimination of Child Labor” had its culminating activity on October 29, 2021. Quirino
Elementary School organize a yearly program to spread awareness about the significance of United Nations
Work. Students are made aware of various cultures and how people from different parts of the world can
co-exist. In a way, United Nations commemorates the formation of new era in history, an era where equality,
peace, and cooperation are valued above war. It signifies that human can come together united by their
shared values of love, justice, and peace and that we can fight for our rights together.
Appropriate events and activities like Hero in me Video Contest for Kindergarten, Poster Making
for Grade One, Bookmark Making for Grade Two, Pagbigkas ng Tula for Grade Three, Slogan Making
Contest for Grade Four, Interpretative Dance Contest for Grade Five and Pagkatha ng Awit for Grade Six
pupils was held in observance of the United Nations. The culminating program was held virtually and
attended by School Head Dr. Meneleo Ramon B. Meneses, teachers, parents and selected students who
joined the different contest as these was also the awarding day. The program was organized by Araling
Panlipunan Coordinator Mrs. Sheryl G. Diray and Master Teacher in Charge of Araling Panlipunan Dr.
Elizabeth Quilling with the help of AP Teachers and selected students. Attached are photo documentation
of what transpired during the program.
