The line graph shows the proportion of joining working remote by age group in the UK, whereas the

bar
chart indicates the information about the percentage of working remote in separated fields in UK from
1997 to 2005

In general, the trend of the charts shows that the age group from 16-24 is the lowest; in contrast, the age
group above 50 is the highest during the given period of time. Moreover, construction industry got the
highest number of the British labor involving in teleworking in both 1997 and 2005

According to the line graph, in 1997, the age group of 16-24 and 50+ were approximately 5%. Then, the
trend changed and increased speedily with the percentage of people aged 16-24 was nearly 12%,
followed by 10% of 50+ . On the other hand, the people who fell into 25-34 fluctuated and 35-49 was
went up modestly in 2004

With bar chart, the data shows that energy and water was the lowest, approximately 1% in 1997 and
above 5% in 2005. Construction constituted nearly 7% in 1997 and a significant percentage of
teleworking with 24% in 2005, followed by under 5% in 1997 and above 15% in 2005 of agriculture and
fishing. With transport and communication was 3% in 1997 and 8% in 2005
