B. Skills Perform a 3 minute dialog depecting a speech act classification.

confusing speech act.

4.1 Introductory Reacall the classification of speech act.

4.2 Activity Differentiate between the formal and informal speech.

4.3 Analysis Read the message of the Mayor in Graduation a program last
year,and hear a record of a school principal’s statements during a
meeting, how do it differ?

4.4 Abstraction Pick a line from any of those speeches and memorize it.

4.5 Application Tell what do you feel after reading and hearing the speeches?

4.6 Assessment Group activity ( for 5 mins) Discuss to the group how you inter act
with the speeches read and heard.

4.7 Assignment Reinforcing the day’s lesson: Explain by writing, How would you
start a conversation with your now friend ex-girlfriend /boyfriend?
