SKILLS WORK EXPERIENCE

 IV Insertion Company Name | Job Title MONTH 20XX - PRESENT

 Monitoring Changing ● Focus on specifics, especially relating to where you work. For example, “Administered
Vital Signs and Labs 150+ tests and IV treatments to gastroenterology patients,” is better than just saying
“Administered tests and IV treatments.”
 Advanced Cardiac Life ● Start your job description bullet points with active verbs rather than personal pronouns.
Support (ACLS) A good example might look like, “Counseled clients to provide information about
diagnoses and recovery care.”
 Electronic Health Record ● Quantify your impact whenever possible because numbers corroborate your claims.
(EHR) Stating that you “Organized 8 bi-monthly childbirth classes for prenatal patients,
 Patient Care decreasing the rate of instrumental delivery by 3%.”
● Keep your bullet point descriptions at three lines or under—it’s far more compelling
 Nursing Administration than wordiness!
 Clinical Practice ● Write your job descriptions in the past tense, although you can use present tense for
current experience.
 Patient Management
 HPPA Compliance
