COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program is designed to equip students with significant knowledge and skills through lectures, classroom
training and workshop as well as community-based immersion undertakings. To effect, students will offer
different activities to empower and to intensively promote the general welfare of the community in relation to
the implementation of Republic Act 9163 or the NSTP Law of 2001.
This course involves fundamental knowledge-based lectures, which will later-on be transposed to the
implementation of valuable community programs to encourage social mobilization.
COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
1. To develop and promote civic consciousness, enhance the intellectual, physical, moral, spiritual, and
social being of the students.
2. To inculcate among the students the ideals of patriotism and nationalism and advance their
involvement in public and civic affair
3. To instill moral values among the students, inculcate the respect for the rights of civilians and
adherence to the constitution

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Aside from major exams and performance tasks, students are required to do the following tasks:
Read assigned text and other learning materials, including modules;
Regular punctual attendance in class and in submission of requirements;
Attain Standard Passing (60%) for assigned tasks such as, quizzes, major exams, class activities,
reflective papers, projects, etc.; and
Active participation in classroom activities including individual and group dynamics to achieve the
Learning Outcomes.
