• Average household size assumed = Urban : Rural = 4:6
• Av monthly consumption of electricity (units) per house hold = 50% of urban
• Division of Income = High, Medium & Low (based on their income levels they will consume the units of
electricity)
• Everyone has access to electricity in urban
• In rural only 50% of low income has and the other two categories have complete access
• Even distribution of electricity throughout the year
