Logistic Manager Duties and Responsibilities

As a Logistic Manager I must oversee and managed/coordinated various tasks in order to maintain
adequate levels of food, water and other supplies and equipment for the office staff or other personnel.
Coordinate and Track Shipments:
Once order requests or purchase orders are received, Implemented and monitored application of
procedures to ensure that food quality and safety principles are followed across the supply chain. It is up
to the logistic manager to manage the pulling and packing of materials and arrange appropriate
transportation. Visits producers/traders contracted by RADP-North to oversee the production operation
ensuring compliance with RADP-North requirements. Among the tasks that might need to be completed
in this responsibility include freight consolidation, cost analysis, routing and scheduling. As a Logistic
manger I must also tracked shipments to ensure they arrived on time and that shipment and delivery
processes adhere to any pertinent regulations.
I have Managed Warehouse:
As a Logistic Manager I was typically responsible for the perform warehouse inspection to potential
vendor as part of their technical assessment. Conducted regular warehouse inspection in RADP-North
facilities making sure that commodity management principles are followed. Warehouse management
duties include maintaining inventory, ordering shipping materials, operating necessary equipment and
managing warehouse personnel.
Analyze Supply Chain Systems:
As a Logistic Manager I must have ensured that all aspects of a logistics team, such as shipping,
warehousing and procurement, are working together to fill orders and deliver materials on a timely
basis. Conducted unannounced visits to supplier’s production sites to verify the inspection activities of
inspection company as per daily inspection reports/checklists. Visited FDPs/CPs (Final Delivery
Point/Cooperating Partner) making sure that indoor food management/handling processes follow RADP-
North Expectations/standards. I was responsible to review all processes and systems to make sure
designing and implementation of new plans and procedures as needed. I was also responsible for
creating and maintaining contingency plans.
My Logistic Skills:
As a successful Logistic Manager I was possessing strong organizational, customer service and
communication skills. I was detail-oriented team player with the ability to multi-task and meet
deadlines. As a Logistic manager typically I have worked with computers to manage warehouse
equipment, strong technical and quality assurance skills.
My Core Logistic skills:
1. Understanding the quality assurance of the procuring materials, warehouse and inventory
computer systems skills
2. Items specification/description development for RFAs/RFQs
3. Bidding, bid evaluation, Solicitation, selection procedure of the successful vendor and sample
checking of the purchasing materials for quality assurance
4. Developing Purchased Ordered Agreement (POA)
5. Handle procured materials in the warehouse even in the FIFO and LIFO systems
6. Creating shipping/delivery routes and schedules
7. Tracking shipment progress
8. Understanding safety/security processes and procedures
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel
