Writing You will be asked to write an opinion essay based on a topic from unit 7 OR
unit 8. Make sure to only CHOOSE ONE topic. Write 190-240 words.

Proposed Essay Structure:

 Introduction: Introducing background to the topic and stating the purpose of

the essay.
 Body Paragraph 1: Topic sentence and two reasons in favour of the prompt
with supporting details/arguments/examples.
 Body Paragraph 2: Topic sentence and two reasons against the prompt with
supporting details/arguments/examples.
 Conclusion: A summary sentence followed by takeaway conclusions and
recommendations.
