Collaborative Grading Evaluation
Collaborative Grading Evaluation
4:
Background: Providing constructive feedback to our peers is a valued skill. When providing
feedback/comments, think of this as an opportunity to help your classmates improve and
succeed. When receiving feedback/comments from others, try to accept them with a mindset
open to self-improvement.
Instructions:
● Write your names at the top of the paper.
● Take notes as you listen to each group’s presentation.
● Complete one evaluation form for each presentation.
● You will receive credit towards your participation grade for this activity for thoroughly
and thoughtfully completing a peer evaluation form for every presenting group.
Please rate each of the following statements by circling the appropriate number on the scale
below it. Add any comments and suggestions below each question or on the back of this sheet.

What was the essential takeaway from the presentation? (Please be specific. Do not write a

the presentation.)
Overall, I’d like to offer the following words of praise and criticisms:
● Please hand out 2 Peer Evaluations to each student. The student will
evaluate the group presenting as a whole. They will not be evaluating their
own group, thus only 2 evaluations/student will be completed.
○ I printed extras just in case:)
● You (as the teacher) will be evaluating all three groups (3 evaluations total).
● Please make sure each student writes their name at the top of the
evaluation on the line that says EVALUATOR’S NAME.
○ Not only will students be receiving a grade for their presentation but
also for thoroughly and thoughtfully completing a peer evaluation
form for every presenting group.
