Steps in Conceptualizing a Design:
Define the Problem: Clearly articulate the design challenge or
problem you aim to solve.
Conduct Research: Understand your target audience, their needs,
and preferences.
Generate Ideas: Brainstorm and explore various design concepts.
Concept Development: Refine and flesh out your chosen concept.
Evaluate and Select: Assess the feasibility and effectiveness of
your concept.
Refine and Iterate: Continuously improve and iterate on your
design.
Present and Communicate: Share your concept with stakeholder.

Distinguish the difference between Interaction Style and


Interaction Type.
Interaction Styles and Interaction Types are both related to how
users interact with computer systems. Let’s see the distinctions.
Interaction Styles:
Interaction styles encompasses all the ways of users can
communicate with a computer system.
Examples:
Command language (expert users typing commands), form fill-in
(non-experts filling out forms), menu selection, and direct
manipulation.
Interaction Types:
Definition: Interaction types refers to patterns of behavior in
how the users engage with others.
Examples:
Initiating vs. responding roles, control vs. movement focus,
directing vs. informing communication.
