Summer training is a part of BJMC curriculum, which a student has to undertake after the
completion of Vth semester. This Project is based on identification of training needs.

Firstly it contains the overall introduction of GREEN TV INDIA . The various activities

 Introduction

Green TV is india’s only private rural and agricultural television channel delivering content to
rural, and small town communities providing them with proper information, spreading greater
awareness , supporting their education and growth and also providing them with relevant
entertainment. It is a 24-hour hindi agricultural program channel which is owned by Green
agricultural Broadcasting Corporation Pvt Ltd. The channel is headquartered in Noida, India. It
was launched on 21 October 2014. It acts as a rural development channel, aims at providing
information, education and awareness content which is currently not provided through
televisions. It provides analysis on topical issues and international importance in agriculture
also allied services.

Analyze issues involving biotechnology farm, crop protection ,

horticulture, animal husbandary, food processing, agribusiness research, high tech agricultural
etc. The content of Green TV india is relevant to the farmer and his family and it helps him in
his business of agricultural and allied services under agricultural, including his social well being
and all-around growth in terms of education, health and awareness of the country’s plan and
expansion. The The channel acts as a bridge which fill the gaps between the rural and urban
india. Green TV india is first-of-its kind infotainment television channel targeting the rural
population aims to be an unparalleled platform of communication that will empower the
farming community via relevant content created to help enhance productivity. This program
channel works asa a most important source of information and entertainment for the public .it
offers all kinds of stuff in their programmes .
 Objectives

 To apply the theoretical know practically and understand the things in better manner.

• To learn to work in a professional environment and coping with the work pressure.

• To prove and enhance our writing and editing skills.

• The training helped us in gaining knowledge and experience about various fields in
electronic media.

• It helped me in understanding the working of an organization and I also came to know

that how reporting take place in a news organization and the work of PCR (production
control room).

• It also proved beneficial in making contacts.

• The training made me realize the importance of processing news sense and the
willingness to work hard.

 My Work at the Organization

1st week 2

On the first day of internship, I was allotted to work as a trainee in a program of Green
TV india which contains small documemtries on those camera process and work. He showed
me and explained me how the program is made. After research they had to contact the person
on which the documentary is prepared and asked them that they wants to make a documentary
on their work. After that the shoot begins on the allotted date and further the scipt is written
again. The visuals were edited and voice over is done. This was the process for the program to
be made. I have also learnt hindi typing in my first week of training.

2nd week

On the first day of my second week he had taken me for the shoot. We had gone to girls place
who was disabled and mentally challenged sings very professionally. He had been awarded
many awards by many celebrities. I also watched the cameraman working and how the two-
cam shoot was done and also the lighting effect and also manage and control of light.

3rd week

I my self wants to the indoor studio where the shoot was done. There I watched the most
interesting thing of the whole channel which was the indoor shoot. I used to stay there at
the time of time of shoot and watched how the anchor is presenting , how the cameras are
working how the sound is collected, how much the studio is acoustic , how the set is
designed and also how the lighting is done. There were many programmes which were
shoot inside the studio like:

4TH week

The work which starts from 4th week is totally opposite from the work of 1st,2nd ,and 3rd week.
As I was suffled to editing on after effect and video pad pro. This is a part a news programme
show which was presented in the green tv.

Basically the show has more focus on news of agriculture and news which
affects a certain amount of news is prepared for the show which is further presented, voice over,
edited and broadcasted. My work for the whole week was to search the shots for editing from
internet and studio.

5th week

The whole fifth week was to firstly search the news graphics design and then to prepare the
hole news graphics plates in my own designed which I easy to understand by the graphics
designed. I had also learn how to handle a camera. My experience in this week was very
interesting and good. While the shoot was going on I used to stand here at the set and assist
program producer

6th week

In this week , I had experience a lot of variety of works. I have made a lot of video for just a
practice in stunt video. The last week was held very educative for me. Create my own mini
video clip composition. The last week was held very educative for me.
 What I learnt

• Time management: The most important part of any profession

• Editing: Visuals were edited by video editing software.

• Discipline: How to behave in a professional field.

• Camera: Process and work

• Light: Manage and control of light.

• Editing: Video editing tools

• Promo: Generate the idea for promo.

• Short Films: Generate the short documentary.

 What I Missed

Research: Research was done before the program so that to aquire the whole and
deep khowlede. I hadn’t learnt to do research.

Script : I hadn’t learnt how to prepare scripts.

News writing: It had became very tough for me to write a news.

Reporting: I missed for reporting.

Anchoring: I missed anchoring.

 Conclusion

My internship in GREEN TV india was a very good experience which helped me out to learn
such a vast and deep understanding of professional enviromentof a channel. It had provided
with a lot of technical and theoretical khowledge of media house. My internship have been
great for my career. Green tv india has offered me opportunities to learn and develop myself in
many areas. A lot of the tasks and activities that have worked on during my intership. My senior
Sanjay Rawat was there all the time when I had any problem during my intership. I learned a lot
from them during my intership. He has also lots of knowledge in the electronic media.he was
very helpful and always willing to give me advice and feedback which I appreciate.

This training helped in accelerating my skills andgave mea opportunity to

look after electronic media understanding and knowledge. This tenure of six weeks prepared me
for my future in any channel r electronic media. This plus point of working in the GREEN TV
INDIA channel is that I had build lot of good and healthy contacts which will somewhere acts
as a source of eferencein future. In the end , I would like to conclude that through this internship
I had learn news writing, scripting , desk work, reporting, communication,research, and last but
not the least how to behave in a professional environment. I appreciate all the advice he gave
me during my internship.
