Terms and conditions:
1. Any Changes with regard to selection/schedule of interview will be notified at the Institute’s
website only.
2. The desirous and eligible candidates fulfilling criteria must bring duly filled application
form, original certificates along with one set self-attested copies of certificates /
documents for verification at the time of interview.
3. All the eligible candidates attending interview should be present at the Institute campus
sharply by 9 AM on the date of interview.
4. Candidates without original certificates/documents will not be allowed to attend the
interview.
5. Applications not in prescribed proforma, incomplete are liable to be rejected.
6. The candidate should hold Degree certificate on the date of interview (at least
Provisional Certificate), if applicable in original in respect of Graduation, Post-Graduation,
Ph.D. (website results/awaiting for results candidates will not be allowed/considered).
7. The above positions are purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project/
scheme except Young Professional (I & II). The tenure of Young Professional (I & II) will be
for a period of one year or till the termination of the project/scheme whichever is earlier
from the date of joining which may be extendable for two more years (01 year at a time)
subject to requirement of the services of the Young Professional in the Institute and
satisfactory performance of the candidate.
8. The period and duration of the project /scheme is tentative and the same may undergo
change.
9. There is no provision for absorption/re-employment after termination of the contract. The
service of person, who are engaged, will automatically stand terminated with the
termination of the contract. Selected candidate can be discontinued earlier owing to
administrative reasons at any time by issue of one-month notice. The selected candidate
may also leave the assignment on their own, by giving one-month notice.
10. Crucial date for determining the age limit will be the date of interview.
11. The Income Tax or any other tax liable to be deducted as per the prevailing rules will be
deducted at source before effecting payment of monthly salary.
12. No TA, DA will be paid for attending the interview.
13. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification of the candidature and/
or termination of engagement even after appointment.
14. The notified vacancies may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the Institute /Project.
15. The Director, ICAR-NIVEDI reserves the right to fill up all the posts or any of them without
assigning any reasons thereof.
16. The decision of the Director, ICAR-NIVEDI is final and binding in all aspects.
