Rebranding Project
Project Brief

2 Project Definition
Background
The acquisition gives us the opportunity to refresh our brand and when launched the new
brand will give us the opportunity to take advantage of the acquisition. This is a key part
of the integration programme of the two companies. At the moment the two parts of the
company – software and hardware – will continue to operate separately until this project
is completed at which time we will fully integrate the operational and sales elements of
our new business.
Project Objectives
The primary aim of the project is to establish a new recognisable company brand,
building on our existing logo. This should be reflected on our documentation, artwork
and website. It is also important that the website promotes all the products, both
software and hardware, that we have to offer.
Scope
The major deliverables for this project will be:
• New Logo
• Rebranded company documentation
• New Website
Constraints
I want the work completed within 6 weeks so that it coincides with our other initiatives to
integrate the two companies.
Interfaces
This project must interface with the integration project for which I am the Executive.
5 Project Approach
The development work is to be completed by Tim Goodman’s team. It is not envisaged
that any external suppliers will be required.
