I am in the National English Honors Society and I help with English
activities around my school such as running the writing center and

I am in the National Science Honors society and I do community service
that helps different science events throughout my community. I help with
science nights at elementary schools, science fairs, etc.

Science Fair project — Artificial Comfort Hand

I did this project both in 9th and 10th grade. It is an artificial hand that is
meant to bring comfort to people with anxiety through warmth and the
feel of human skin.

Science Fair project — Do Periodic Post-Conviction Polygraph

Examinations (PCPE) During Sexual Offender Treatment Reduce
Recidivism in Sexual Offenders?
I did this project in 11th grade, as I am interested in psychology and
criminals. It was a project about researching already established research
about recidivism and putting it together to draw conclusions.

VOLUNTEER WORK

North Metro Church Volunteer

I help every other Sunday at my church in the 4 year olds class, playing
with them and making sure that they get where they need to go.
Elementary School STEM Nights
I’ve helped out with different elementary school’s STEM nights, where
the schools are able to display all of the different types of STEM activities
that they can offer.

FCA Volunteer work

I have volunteered at a nursing home and at my church for FCA, a club
that I am very involved in at my school.

Due West Pumpkin Patch

I help out with sales at the Due West pumpkin patch during the Fall and
also help the pumpkin patch run efficiently.

Mindful Art Kits

I helped to cut magazine images to help with sensory kits for children
with special needs.

Thanks for Giving Food Drive

I donated food for the food drive that provides Thanksgiving dinner to
underprivileged families.
