‭ odrigo‬‭: Well, My name is Rodrigo but you can just‬‭c all me Rodri. I am fifteen years old, and‬

‭I am a Coar Student. For this reason, I don't have much time available But at the Weekends I‬
‭dedicate my free time to look for experiences that contribute to my development as a citizen.‬
‭For this reason and more, I am here today‬

‭ iara:‬‭W ell, nice to meet you Rodri, is something‬‭interesting that you’re a COAR student,‬

‭and you’re right, our development as citizens is something with a big importance, for this I‬
‭want to know what is your interest in volunteering?‬

‭ odrigo:‬ ‭I am interested in volunteering for two main reasons.‬

‭Firstly , because I want to make a difference in my community. Since I was a child, I‬
‭observed unsolved problems, for example: The pollution or social discrimination that‬
‭c urrently still exist. So, From my perspective, I consider that volunteering is an initiative to‬
‭develop positive changes and a way of contributing to common welfare.‬
‭Secondly, This way I can develop social skills in the interaction with new people. As a Coar‬
‭s tudent, I have values and characteristics that can contribute to enhancing the environment.‬
‭For that, I want to put these skills into practice in different contexts.‬

‭ iara:‬‭W ow, you said something very important, making a difference in our community is a‬

‭good first intention and an opportunity to solve problems and generate an impact to improve‬
‭it, so, that's good. Also, to develop your abilities, I believe that volunteering can help you to‬
‭achieve it, then, what do you hope to gain from your volunteering experience? Maybe it’s‬
‭s omething beyond gaining experience.‬
