The book that I chose for my report is called A Thousand Heartbeats.

A Thousand Heartbeats is
a captivating enemies-to-lovers romance novel written by the renowned author Kiera Cass. The
book tells the story of two individuals who start as adversaries but eventually find themselves
drawn to each other. The characters are well-developed, with complex personalities and
backstories that make the story all the more engaging. Kiera Cass does an excellent job of
building the tension between the two main characters and keeping the reader invested in their
journey.

Throughout the book, we are reading from two different points of view. One is of a Princess
named Annika living in a beautiful kingdom named Kadier whose life is not as perfect as it
seems. Her father has grown cold since her mother's disappearance, and she is forced into a
loveless marriage for political gain. The other point of view starts in an abandoned kingdom not
far from Kadier, in the kingdom is a lost tribe which is also their most feared soldier, Lennox,
whose story is also being told. Lennox is a soldier in his tribe who was part of six clans but was
forgotten long ago, he feels he has no one since his father was killed and his mother has become
a stranger ever since she has been with Kawan the new and awful Tribe leader and his stepfather.
when the two meet, they show hatred toward each other for hurting them both in the worst
possible way, but soon they can't stop thinking about each other.
