Components Brief Description of Present Status
1. Buildings Our school, Francisco P. Tolentino
Integrated High School has three main
buildings. The JHS building, the SHS
Building and the Grade 8 building. The
three buildings are all functional and in
good condition. All are well-lighted and
well ventilated and are conducive as
learning environment for the students. I
would also commend that all the buildings
have the fire exit.
2. Library Compared to other schools, I could say
that our library is far more conducive than
others. It is newly renovated and it is
indeed functional.
3. Canteen The canteen in our school is complete in

I would be given the chance to improve
the buildings, I would make the corridors
more spacious since it is a school
building, especially in the JHS building. I
have noticed that the corridors are too
narrow for the parallel classrooms. I
would also follow the recommended type
of door as per DepEd order no. 28, s.
2018. It is stated that doors in the
classroom should be fire safety. In terms
of being fire safety, I believe that the
doors should be pushed outside when
students are from inside the classroom.
The fire exits should also be maintained
so that it will not be rusty and will be safe
to use in case of emergency.
As our current library follows the DepEd
Order no. 56, s. 2011 or the Standards for
Philippine Libraries, I think it would be
better if more bookshelves will be added
in the loaf style part of the library so that
more books will be accessible to the
learners. Also, during summer it is very
hot inside the library so I would suggest to
put an aircon inside the library so that it
will be conducive for the learners.
If I would improve the current status of
 terms of the equipment. The foods being
served followed the DepEd order no. 13 s.
2017 which tackles the healthy foods
allowed to be sell in the school canteen.
The staff are wearing safety equipment to
ensure the cleanliness of the foods being
served.
4. Clinic We have a new place in the school clinic.
Though well-lighted and well ventilated, I
would be honest that the equipment in the
clinic are not sufficient to address the
medical needs of the learners.
5. Science Laboratory Our Science Laboratory is newly
renovated following the DepEd order no.
48 s. 2006. So far, the design of the
laboratory is perfect for the school to
conduct their experiments.
6. Internet In different buildings of our school, there
are routers which allow the teachers and
students to connect with the 200 mbps
internet provided by the school
administration.
7. Security For the security, our school has CCTV
cameras in different floor areas of each
building to secure the safety of the
learners. Also, we have designated school
the canteen, I would still follow the
guidelines for recommended school
canteen design stated in DepEd order no.
8, s. 2007. But aside from this, I would
also focus on constructing a bigger space
for our canteen angels (helpers) because
in our current canteen design, I think their
working area in preparing the food are too
small for them.
For the improvement of the clinic, I would
supply all the equipment stated in OUA
Memo 00-1121-0061 or the guidelines in
establishing the school clinic. Also, I
would focus on the supplies such as the
things needed for first aid, as well as the
common medicines needed by the learners
and the teachers.
As per the Science Laboratory, for me it is
one of the best school laboratories in our
district. I would just like to focus more on
the storing of sufficient supplies for
experiments and purchase equipment and
chemicals to be used by the students.
For the internet, there are points where the
signal is weak or none at all. So this is the
improvement that I would focus on. I will
make sure that all areas in the school are
internet ready specially those who are in
the upper floor of the JHS building.
The major parts of the school are installed
with CCTV camera. Just like the internet
connection, some floor areas are not
equipped with the CCTV so for the future
 guardhouse near the entrance of the
school where the school security
personnel can stay even at night to
monitor the facilities.
8. Water Supply In terms of water supply, there are two
water tanks which the school used to
supply water in different facilities of the
school. The only problem is, the water
supply is sometimes not stable so there are
instances that comfort rooms run out of
water.
9. Toilet There are 5 designated toilets for students
in the school. One for SHS building, one
for Grade 8 building and three for JHS
building. In SHS building, all the toilets
are functional with flush, while in the
other buildings, the toilets does not have
the flush. the doors of the CR are not
functional.
10. School Gym The school gym is located at the 5th floor
of our JHS building. It is a covered court
that suits for a basketball games and
different ball games.
plans, I will see to it that all the areas in
the school are secured with CCTV.
Water supply is a major problem
especially if it is unstable because it is
considered a basic needs. I guess, proper
dialogue with the water agency that
handles the area of the school should be
done to secure that the supply of the water
is continuous. Revisiting the pipe line
should also be done to be sure that the
tubes are not clogged and water will flow
on the faucet.
For the CR, since the toilets are functional
already, proper maintenance should be
imposed to the learners so ensure the
cleanliness and continuous use of the
toilet. In terms of the doors, quality doors
and padlocks should be used so that it will
not be damaged easily. Discipline should
also imposed to the learners.
I think it would be better if the school
gym is on the ground so if given a chance
to impose this. I would make it that way.
Also, benches should be added around the
gym itself so that the audience can sit
while playing games. Proper lighting
should also be a priority so that even the
games would be extended at night, it will
not be a problem.
