FINAL ACTIVITIES

ICEBREAKER A FAMILY THAT RUNS TOGETHER, STAYS TOGETHER

Objectives: To break awkwardness between participants and to welcome and warm up


conversation among them throughout the training program.

Facilitator: Materials: Premade storyline

Duration: 25 mins

Groups: 2

Instructions:
1. Divide the participants into two teams and assign them as family 1 & 2.
2. Designate roles to each of the members in the group.
(e.g. as nanay, tatay, ate, kuya and etc.)
3. Both teams will form a straight line across to the chair in front of them and be arranged
according to their roles.
(e.g. ate being the first one in the line, then, kuya, nanay, tatay)
4. The facilitator will narrate a story, and everytime their roles are mentioned, they must
run and go around the chair in front of them, and return to their original position.
5. At the end of the storyline, the team who goes back first to their original positions wins.
Rules:
1. Each team must not go over the line in front of them.
2. Handicap will be given to the member who wasn’t able to run when his/her role was
mentioned.
3. If all roles are mentioned at the same time, they must run in order.

GTKY MINGLE

Objectives: For participants to interact with each other and get to know their colleagues
more.

Facilitator: Materials: Premade questions

Duration: 20 mins.

Groups: depend

Instructions:

1. Participants move around the room while saying “mingle” to each other and also while
music is playing.
2. When the music stops, the facilitator will say a number, and the participants have to
form a group using the stated number as the number of members.
3. The facilitator will then inform the participants of the question that needs to be
answered for that round.
4. In their group, each one will take turns giving their answers to the question for that
round.
5. There will be 4 rounds, with different questions each.
6. For each round, they will be given 3 minutes to take turns in sharing.
7. The start of a new round will be signaled by playing the music again and participants
have to move around the room again.

1ST LECTURE SLA AMOEBA WALK

Objectives: For participants to move from starting point to the finish line while staying intact
with each other through a tissue paper wrap. This activity shows how a team works, fosters
communication, coordination, and trust among the participants

Facilitator: Materials:
Tissue Paper
Duration: 25- 30 Chairs (other things) for obstacle
mins. Balloon

Groups: 2

Setup:
● Set up starting point and finishing point
● Divide the participants into 2 teams
● State the instruction
● Provide them time to strategize
Instructions:
1. The members of each team will form an “amoeba” by joining arms with each
other
2. The facilitator will strap a tissue paper around the team.

3. One member from each team will act as the “leader” of the amoeba that will
guide its movements while navigating the obstacle course.

4. The rest of the members will follow the leader’s movements closely in order to
not break the tissue wrapped around them
5. If the tissue strap is broken or participants separate from the group then the
team has to start again.

6. The team has to go from the starting point and circle around the finishing point
and to the starting point again.

7. The first amoeba that arrives at the starting point wins (patiwason ang isa ka
team if ever wala pa sila nahuman or like kanang tagaan ba ron sila ug time
limit, nya ang katong nahuman na na team kay ipa cheer sa pikas)

8. There will be 2 rounds


i. challenges (1st round): tissue wrap with obstacle course
ii. 2nd round: tissue wrap + leader is blindfolded + balloon na need nila
ma keep afloat within sa circle + obstacles
Rules:
● If the tissue strap is broken the team must restart
● If a participant separates from joining hands, the team must restart
● If the balloon falls or pops, the team must restart
● If they touch any of the obstacles, they must restart

○ Naay one way path (maybe papers na ilaray tapos dapat didto ra sila moagi like
di molapas)
○ Naay something sa center sa ila circle (maybe balloon ba ron) na dapat ma stay
nila within sa ila circle (dili mahulog) while moving and keeping their tissue wrap
TEAM BUILDING SERIES

SLE PEN BALL CUP

Objectives: To enhance collaboration and communication within the group, as well as


problem solving through strategizing and planning. This activity also aims to build trust and
relationships among the members.

Facilitator: Materials:
Balls
Duration: 20-30 mins Pencil/ Pen
Cup/bottle
Groups: 3

Setup:
● Prior to the activity, set up by putting 1 cup at each of the starting points of the teams and
1 cup at each of the finishing points.
● Divide the participants into 3 teams
● Once the teams are formed, state the instruction
● Give them time to strategize after the facilitator is done with the instructions.
● Give each members a pen or a pencil

Instructions:
1. All the members must then work together to lift the ball from the starting point cups
to the end point cups without letting the ball fall.
2. If the ball falls while traveling from one point to another, the team must go back to
the starting point and restart.
3. If a member disconnects their pen or pencil from the ball WHILE TRAVELING,
then that team must go back to the starting point and restart.
4. Once the team reaches the finishing point cup they must put the ball on the cup
5. After putting the ball on the finishing point cup, they must get the ball again with
their pens and go back to the starting point. (Same procedure with 1)
6. The first team to reach the starting point and is able to put the ball on the cup
without letting it fall wins the activity.
7. If the ball falls or a member disconnects from the ball while traveling back to the
starting point, they must restart from the finishing point (The finishing point acts as
a checkpoint if they were able to put the ball on the finishing point cup
successfully).
8. There will be 3 rounds
a. Challenges: (1st round): any part of the pen + no obstacles
b. 2nd round: any part of the pen + obstacles
c. 3rd round:
Rules:
● Each members of the team should not separate their pens from the ball ONLY
WHILE TRAVELING
● Has to go back to the starting point if a member or more members separate from
the ball while traveling
● Has to go back to the starting point if the ball falls while traveling or while putting
the it on the cup
● The first team that reaches and is able to put the ball on the top of the cup at the
starting point wins

SLE PIPELINE

Objectives: To foster teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills


among participants

Facilitator: Materials:
Balls
Duration: 20-30 mins Colored papers that would act as pipes
Groups: 2 Bucket / Basket (2)
Timer

Setup:
● Set up starting point with 3 balls for each team
● Set up the end point with the bucket or basket where they can put the balls
● Divide the participants into two teams
● Provide each members with the colored papers
● Once the participants are settled, state the instruction
● Provide each team the time to strategize
Instructions:
1. Start the timer (8 or 10 mins for each round)
2. Participants must work together to transport the ball from starting point to the
finishing point using only the colored papers provided to the members
3. Once the ball is on the paper, it can’t be touched by any participants until it
goes to the bucket or basket provided at the finishing point.
4. Participants should not grab the ball while holding the colored paper
5. Participants must carefully move from one place to another in order to
transport the ball from starting point to the finishing point
6. If the ball falls out from the colored papers, the team must restart from the
starting point
7. The team that has the most balls on the bucket after the time wins.
8. There will be 2 rounds
a. Challenges (1st round): none (normal)
b. 2nd round: basket has small opening

Rules:
● Grabbing the ball from under the colored paper is not allowed
● No touching of the ball once it is on the colored paper
● If the ball falls out members from the team must restart

SLE PLAY TO WIN

Objectives: This fosters collaboration and teamwork and shifts the focus from viewing others
as competitors to recognizing them as teammates. Participants are encouraged to work
together across groups to achieve collective success rather than individual victories.

Facilitator: Materials:
Balls
Duration: 25-30 mins Small Bucket/ bucket (3)

Groups: 3 groups

Setup:
● Set up by putting 3 bases and put the balls in the middle of the bases.
● Divide the participants into 3 teams and give the groups each a bucket or basket
● Once they are settled, state the instruction
● Give them time to strategize
Instructions:
1. All members for each team must work together to fill their bucket or basket with
the balls in the middle
2. The main objective is to acquire the highest number of balls collected
3. Players are allowed to steal other groups’ balls or do anything to acquire balls
4. There will be 3 rounds
5. They are given 3 minutes to collect the balls each round.
6. Make the team count how many balls they’ve collected after each round (but
wala ra’y points2x proceed dayun sa next round nya i balik2x lang ang goal
nila tapos katong pwede bisag unsa ila buhaton)
Rules
● No Aggressive physical contact: Participants should refrain from engaging in any form
of aggressive physical contact, including pushing, shoving, or grabbing
● Safety is the top priority

CLIMACTIC POSITIVE CAROUSEL
ACTIVITY

Objectives: To wrap up the whole program and to reflect on their experience throughout the
whole training program. Participants are encouraged to connect more with each other.

Facilitator: Materials:
Chairs
Duration: 30 mins.

Groups: 2 groups

Instructions:

1. Let a participant choose a pair and decide who will be person A or B between them.
2. Person A will sit on the chairs, while person B will stand behind them.
3. For round 1, the person standing will whisper words of affirmation, gratitude,
motivation, or apologies or anything that they want to say to that person sitting in front
of them.
4. After 1 minute, the facilitator will say move, and the person standing will move to their
right to repeat the above instruction.
5. Those who are sitting should not respond to whatever the person behind them is
whispering. They can react and receive whatever the person is saying but they cannot
talk.
6. The round ends when each person has whispered words to everyone sitting and has
gone back to their original pairs.
7. In round 2, those who are sitting will take the place of those persons standing. They
will be the one to whisper what they want to say.
8. In round 3, everyone is free to approach anyone to which they want to say something
to them.
9. After 3 rounds, participants will gather around a circle and put their hands on the
shoulders of those beside them.(big hug)
10. Ask someone to share how they feel when they hear the words of affirmation
whispered to them.

● How do you feel throughout the activity?
● How were you able to contribute to the team’s efforts?
● How did your team approach the tasks?
● What strategies did your team use to solve the tasks?
● Were there any communication barriers or challenges?

● How can you apply these learnings to real-life situations? Or sa inyoha work or
organization?
