Test the Vertical Speed and Altimeter for proper operation and
movement with small collective inputs.
Test the Attitude Indicator by changing the nose position and
observe an increase and a decrease in the attitude position.
Bank left and right to observe the bank indication.
Slip Indicator (Trim Indicator Ball) should be free in the race.
Test the Navigation Display (ND) by performing a left and right
pedal turn.
Test the Magnetic Compass by performing a left and right pedal
turn.
NOTE: At FLI 12.0 check torque 100% when torque is the limiting
factor

The auto trim and the DSAS function are lost. The system has
reconfigured to the pure rate gyro-controlled backup SAS.

Conditions / Indications
NOTE: PHI Health uses only Lead Acid batteries which are not
susceptible to thermal runaway. The system has been
deactivated but the warning light is operational for system
check purposes only. Any false illumination of the BAT TEMP
light is a fault within the warning unit itself or within the wiring
system. Maintenance action is required prior to further flight.
• Warning GONG will be activated
• The BAT TEMP warning annunciation does not indicate a
battery overheat, but a fault with the Warning Unit or the
battery temperature wiring

CARGO
SMOKE a
(if installed)
NOTE: PHI Health has uninstalled / deactivated the cargo
smoke system. The warning light is operational for system
check purposes only. Any false illumination of the CARGO
SMOKE light is a fault within the warning unit itself or within
the wiring system. Maintenance action is required prior to
further flight.
Conditions / Indications
• The CARGO SMOKE warning annunciation does not
indicate a fire, but a fault with the Warning Unit or the
cargo smoke wiring
• Warning GONG will be activated

and F VALVE CL caution indication (CAD) will come on. FIRE
legend remains as long as overheat condition exist.
2. Both FUEL PRIME PUMPS ............................ Check OFF

EXT indicator light comes on (EMER OFF SW PANEL)
NOTE: Extinguisher bottle will discharge when N1 < 50%.

CAUTION
Since one fuel transfer pump is powered by the shed bus, the
amount of unusable fuel increases above that stated in section
2 when problem is identified on sys1 side, BUSTIE 1 is
opened and gen 1 remains off.
When gen 2 remains disconnected and both BUSTIE sw are
off, the radalt is lost which will reduce capabilities of the
autopilot, as the auto level off function will be lost.
NOTE:
• Systems on SHED BUS of affected side will be lost once
BUSTIE switches are OFF. Furthermore, the other SHED
BUS will be momentarily lost when both GEN switches are
off resulting in various cautions, indicating these systems
are failed.
• One generator alone will provide sufficient power for
continued flight until safe landing can be made.
• If winch operation is required for safety of flight, the
