Vaccination of children in the age group of 15-18 years (born before 31 December 2007) has begun from
03 January 2022. Keeping in view the recent global surge in Covid-19 cases, it is imperative that your
ward is vaccinated on an immediate basis.

• For the age group of 15-18 years, option for vaccination would only be "Covaxin" as this is the
only vaccine with EUL for the age-group 15-18 years & necessary recommendation of "COVID-19
Working Group" of NTAGI.
• Appointment for vaccination can be made through an existing account on Co-WIN or by creating
a new account through a unique mobile number. Appointments can be booked online or onsite
(walk-in).
• Services in the on-site (walk-in) mode will be available subject to availability of vaccination slots.
It is advised that parents should ascertain availability of slots for the vaccination center of their
choice on Co-WIN.
• As per the information received from DOE, list of all COVID-19 vaccination centers/session sites
earmarked for the age group 15 to 18 years will be published and updated on website of Delhi
State Health Mission (www.dshm.delhi.gov.in)

You are advised to get your ward vaccinated at the earliest possible and inform the class teacher about
the same.
