Title of Activity CONDUCT OF SCHOOL BASED SEMINAR ON FIRE SAFETY AND

MEASURES

Rationale By virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 115-A, the month of March

was declared as Fire Prevention Month due to the increase of fire
incidents during this period.

In consonance to this, the Department of Education issued DepEd

Order No. 28 s. 2016 entitled, “Strengthening the Fire Safety and
Awareness Program which aims to protect the school community and
school properties from the treat of fire.

In support of BFP and DepEd’s thrust to promote fire safety in school,

Alvindia-Aguso High School organized a Fire Prevention Lecture and
Fire drill conducted by officers from the Bureau of Fire Protection last
March 27, 2023, at 10:30 AM to -12:00pm. This activity is designed to
enable and capacitate the stakeholders of the school for disaster
preparedness as they work together to build a safer community.
