It shall be a municipal-level competition open to Junior and Senior High School students, c. The contestants shall be given two (2) hours to complete their artwork, which shall revolve around, but shall not limited to, the following topics = Roles of a Firefighter ~ Heroic Act during a fire incident ~ Fire Incident Survivor = Dream of becoming a firefighter Fire Safety Awareness 4d, The contestants shall use ol pastels as their medium in creating their artworks, drawn on % white illustration board. . Materials for the poster-making contest shall be shall be sponsored by City/ Municipal Fire Station which the contestant represents. {. Photos must depict or tell story relative to the general theme of “Sa Pag-lwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-lisa . Entry must be the contestants original work. d. Photos taken by digital cameras, DSLR, or cellular phones are allowed. A single “High Dynamic Range” Photo Produced from multiple exposures and Black and ‘White Photos are acceptable. Photos taken by film camera, fisheye lens, and stitched panoramas are not eligible. Post processing of the image is limited to cropping and color enhancements, including shadows and highlights only. Photo manipulation is not allowed. All entries will be subjected to screening for digital edit fe. Entries should include the photo's metadata (ISO, Aperture Value, and Shutter luding artworks and other photos, date, stamps, watermarks or any text on the image. 9. Photos previously awarded by other local or intemational competitions will be disqualified. ‘n. Photo entries must have been taken within the period of 2021 to 2023 leading to the competition entry deadiine i. Organic members of the Bureau of Fire Protection are allowed to join the contest. i. Entries once submitted can no longer be retrieved for whatever purposes, be it editing or modification k._ In case of any violation of the guidelines and rules, the organizers and the Selection Committee reserves the right to disqualify the participant and their entry or remove them from the program |. The organizers and Selection Committee reserves the right to disqualify any Participant andlor to forfeit any prize from a participant who is found to have committed plagiarism or has undertaken fraudulent practice andlor activities. m. The BFP reserves the right to create, revoke, and modify at any time, in any way its entry requirements, rules and regulation at its absolute discretion without prior notice. Finalists and submitted entries shall be bound by any amendments or addition to the entry requirements, rules and regulations herewith 11. The decision of the Selection Committee and Board of Juniors is final and ievocable. The board reserves the right not to give an award in any category should ‘no entry merit it. The Board will not be obliged to give explanation for the results. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS ‘Submission of entries shall be made through the office of the Provincial Chief, ‘Community Relations Section. Said entries will be consolidated prior to initial screening. Filename of the photo must be in the format "SURNAME_PHOTO TITLE”. Photo entries shall be submitted in both printed copy of 10R (10 by 12 inches) format and JPEG, RAW, PNG or TIFF file format (300 dpi) of the same size. Contestants will be required to provide the following information upon submi entry ~ Photo Title = Photo Caption: (1-2 Sentences explaining/describing the photograph and its relevance to the theme) - Date the photo was captured: (ex: Fire Incident, Bray. Baseco, Manila) - Camera used - Photo Metadata: (ISO, Aperture Value, Shutter Speed) Provincial Judging and Selection of Regional Finalists of - All submitted entries in the provincial office shall be screened and prejudged. The judging schedule shall be upon the discretion of the Provincial Fire Marshals. - Only one entry representing the province shall be submitted as Regional Entry. All entries will be considered equal once submitted to the Regional Office and will be judged according to the criteria for judging. + Deadline of submission of municipalcity entries shall be on March 04, 2024.
