1. Problem
Statistics show that only a small
percentage of Licensure Examination for
Teachers takers make it to the top,
despite the thousands of individuals who
sit for the exam annually.
1. Problem
The results of the March 2022 LET for
elementary levels showed that out of
the 20,567 examinees, only 10,039
passed, translating to a 48.81% success
rate. Additionally, only 18 examinees
(0.08%) placed in the top ten spots,
according to the PRC Board Admin.
1. Problem
The PRC Board Admin's 2022 report
shows that only 54.43% of the 91,468
LET takers in October of the same year
passed the exam. This leaves a mere
0.14% of the participants qualifying for
the topnotch distinction.
1. Problem
Recently, the March LET for
elementary levels saw 60,896
examinees, but only 24,819 (40.76%) of
them passed. Furthermore, according
to PRC, only a mere 55 (0.9%) of the
examinees managed to rank in the top
10 highest places.

A. Breathtaking Sight: Desire and Preparation to Top the LET

The determination and motivation that drive trekkers to

reach the mountain peak, anticipating the breathtaking
view that awaits them, is similar to a strong inner desire
that fuels the test takers to excel in the LET. Just as trekkers
equip themselves with the right gear, tools, and knowledge
for a successful ascent, LET topnotchers also have thorough
preparation which includes studying the relevant review
materials, and participating in a review center.

B. Trek Guide: Factor of Topping the LET

In the journey to top the Licensure Examination for

Teachers (LET), challenges can be likened to the diverse
terrains encountered in a mountain trek. The obstacles
faced by topnotchers, such as problems in time
management, family-related issues, and maintaining focus
during the exam, can be seen as distinct terrains in the LET
landscape.

D. Acclimatization: Coping Challenges

Acclimatization refers to the process by which the human

body gradually adjusts to a new environment, often in
response to changes in altitude, temperature, or other
challenging conditions. Similarly, in the journey to top the
Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), acclimatization
can be associated with the coping strategies employed by
topnotchers. Conquering challenges in LET preparation
involves acclimating to the academic "altitude" by adapting
to the demands and pressures of the examination.

E. Peak of the Mountain: Insights and Realization
Reaching the peak of a mountain in a trek and gaining a
breathtaking view can be likened to the insights and
realizations experienced in preparing for, during, and
topping the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
Topnotchers, much like trekkers at the summit, believe that
success is a gradual journey, emphasizing the importance of
unyielding commitment to their goals. The breathtaking
view from the mountain peak aligns with the profound
realizations topnotchers gain – not just about the
destination but about the transformative journey of LET
preparation.
5. Essence
Despite challenges,
topnotchers achieved
their inner desire through
their commitment, self-
discipline, positivity and
faith in God.
6. Conclusion

It is difficult to attain academic

excellence but also rewarding.

The LET journey is more than an

achievement for academics; it's also a
proof of topnotchers' ability to deal
with serious problems
6. Conclusion

Faith, support systems, and a positive

attitude is important to overcome
obstacles

The stories of LET topnotchers

demonstrate the transformative
power of dedication and
