What is

Re-Imagine

Competition.

Re-Imagine is a web design contest by The Sheryians

Coding School. It's all about giving Indian/International

brand websites a modern makeover. Unlike other contests,

we focus on making bold, fresh designs for real brands. We

want students to learn by doing, with real-world examples.

Example.

Imagine your 3 favourite brands are McDonald's, Coca

Cola, and Samsung. Choose any two of these brands

and let your creativity flow. Reimagine their website

concepts with stunning details, animations, and micro-

interactions. Create a responsive, awe-inspiring

website for each brand. Your first submission is for

Round 1, and the second is for Round 2 of the

challenge.

Competition

Details.

Create two complete single-page websites for any two brands, ensuring

that you reimagine the theme and overall look and feel of each site

rather than cloning existing designs. Upload both websites to GitHub

and obtain the GitHub Pages links.

Competition has 4 rounds. For submissions of Rounds 1 and 2, the team

captain will log in to reimagine.sheryians.com.

round 1
First Website Submission.

Every registered team will be welcomed to compete in round 1 of the

challenge. Once your team is registered, you can begin preparing to

re-imagine and create websites for two distinct brands.

The submission for round 1 will be open from July 1st [00 : 00 : 00 ] to

July 3rd [23 : 59 : 59]. Please ensure that you adhere to these guidelines.

Create your website and upload the code to GitHub

Repo must be private

Name of repo - “[TeamName]ReimagineRound1”

Add “reimagine-sheryians” as collaborator

Make the website live using GitHub Pages, Vercel, or any other

hosting platform of your choice

Each team member will create a LinkedIn post explaining the

Reimagine Contest, the team's project work, and their experience

For submissions, log in to your Re-Imagine account and submit the

code repository URL, the live URL of your website, and the LinkedIn

post link for each team member

You can submit the details only once

Do not commit anything after the deadlines, as any further commits

may result in disqualification for your team.

round 2
Second Website Submission.

Every selected team will be welcomed to compete in round 2 of the

challenge. If your team is selected for round 2, you can begin preparing
to re-imagine and craft a second website for this stage of the
competition.

Begin creating both of your websites from the start, rather than waiting
until your team is selected for round 2. This approach ensures that you
have sufficient time for the round 2 challenge, as there may not be much
time between rounds.

Round 2 submissions will begin on July 20th [00 : 00 : 00 ] and Ends on

July 22nd [23 : 59 : 59]. Please ensure that you submit your second
website before the deadline and adhere to these deadlines.

round 3
Virtual Interview Round

Selected teams will be welcomed to Round 3 of the challenge. The team

captain will receive a confirmation email.

Two of your top members will participate in a virtual interview. During

this round, they will be asked about their approach to the website
creation process, inspirations, JavaScript functionalities used, and their
thought process behind design and implementation choices.

Interview dates for your team will be shared via email. Your team will be
invited on the specified date and time mentioned in the email.

round 4
is special
Teams that successfully pass Round 3 will advance to the final round,
Round 4, which is scheduled to take place in the picturesque city of
lakes, Bhopal.

Selected teams will be invited to the city of Bhopal on September 4th

and 5th, 2024, for a two-day event. You will be our esteemed guests, and
we will ensure your hospitality during your stay. Hotel rooms will be
provided for team members, with separate accommodations for female
participants. The competition will commence on September 4th at 1 pm
and will continue until 6 am the following day.

Sheryians Coding School will take care of providing breakfast, lunch,

and dinner, ensuring that students can focus solely on developing their
ideas and producing their final output.

The complete schedule of the event will be shared via email once your
team qualifies for this final round.

Disqualification

Scenarios

Any unethical activity or abuse in the Discord group or with any other

team members will not be tolerated

Misbehavior with Sheryians organizing staff or mentors is strictly

prohibited

Any false or defamatory allegations against the Sheryians brand over

the internet are unacceptable

Cheating or stealing data from other teams will result in severe

consequences.
