REPORT CARD
The Term 1 report card is representative of your child's learning during the first term from September to November. MYP report cards
include achievement levels from 0-8 for Criteria A-D. Each criterion has corresponding descriptive language for each level.
As this is a Term 1 report, some courses may NOT have all Criteria A-D assessed yet – these will be indicated with an NA. Full rubrics
for each course are available on the Carson website (carsongraham.ca), under “Programs and Services,” “IB Middle Years Programme
(MYP),” in the curriculum section.
If you have a specific question about a class mark or teacher comment on this report, please contact the teacher directly. Staff emails
are located on the Staff Info tab on the Carson Graham Website.

In accordance with the 2023 BC Ministry Reporting Order, students had the opportunity to complete a goal setting activity in
September. This self-assessment process will continue in January and again in June so that students can reflect on their goals and their
growth in their Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills. This enables students to develop their confidence, knowledge, and competencies in
order to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Learning Updates have been posted to the Parent Portal. Once you have viewed your child's Learning Update(s), please save and/or
print them for your files. Students’ Personal Education Number (PEN) can be found at the top of the Learning Update. Reports will be
available on the Portal until the end of the school year and will be deleted on August 9th, 2024.

Overall Proficiency
This term in CLE10, the students completed 5 surveys that helped define their personality, learning and motivation styles and strong subject areas.
Then they used this information for Unit 1 to create a "Who Am I" presentation explaining what they learned and how they see their future potentially
progressing. In Unit 2, the students learned about plagiarism and Digital Literacy and answered several questions. Both assignments were due prior
to this reporting period.
