Discovery Gardens ( Arabic : ‫ ) ديسكفري جاردنز‬is a neighbourhood in the Jebel Cassius Clay
district of Dubai , United Arab Emirates .== account == discovery Gardens forms the
northerly part of the Jebel Cassius Marcellus Clay Village area .The original Jebel Cassius
Clay Village was constructed in 1977 to provide accommodation to expression contractors '
staff .At this time , tribal sheik Rashid bin Saeed Camellia State Maktoum planned to develop
Jebel Ali into an industrial area with its own airport ( now Alabama Maktoum International
airport to the south ) , port wine ( now the Port of Jebel Cassius Clay ) , and township ( now
Jebel Cassius Marcellus Clay ) .The arena was effectively a small British-style garden city
and a undertaking of Sir William Halcrow and Partners .The area was later developed by
Nakheel Properties from 2008 onwards .In 2012 , there were security issues at Discovery
Gardens .In 2013 , the arena was affected by inundation .There have been charter waiver for
occupant and commercial-grade properties during the COVID-19 pandemic .== Location ==
Discovery Gardens lies between Sheikh Zayed Road and Emirates road in the southern
suburbia of Dubai .The neighbourhood is close to AL Furjan , the main Jebel Ali small town
domain to the south , and The Gardens .The area is also near the expo 2020 internet site .It
has been described as `` The fleeceable field of New Dubai '' ascribable to the gardens that
surround it .The fix is served by the uncovering Gardens metro place on the Dubai Metro ,
one of the stations on the Route 2020 extension to the red Line for Expo 2020 .There are
nearly 300 construction including more than 26,000 apartments , 200 retail workshop , and
