I - IDENTFYING INFORMATION

Project Title : Completion of School Clinic

School Clinic is a room for isolation of pupils and personnel


with fever and flu-like symptoms. Somoge Elementary School
has already designated an area in school and developed
Project Description : School Clinic, but is subject for completion. Facilities in school
clinic that still needed to be acquired are beddings, ventilation
and electrical system, Personal Protective Equipment, and
other health paraphernalia.

School Safety Assessment Tool (SSAT) validation was conduct


by the Catarman V District M&E Team to assess the readiness
Prerequisite Program : of the school for the Limited Face-to-Face classes, wherein
one of the physical requirements that needed to be
accomplished is having a functional School Clinic.
Legal Basis :

Target Clients : Learners and School Personnel

Rationale : Implementing the Limited Face-to-Face learning modality has


seen as an effective answer to declining quality education in
time of Pandemic. However, the safety of the pupils and
school personnel has always been a priority as to consider
COVID-19 still being contagious. In response to this, the
COVID-19 SDRRM Team of Somoge ES managed to develop
School Clinic for the pupils and school personnel who have
seen symptoms of the virus. Functional School Clinic is also
one of the physical requirements needed to be accomplished
based on the School Safety Assessment Tool (SSAT) for the
Limited F2F learning modality.
As of March 2022, the Somoge Elementary School Clinic has
already been functional and caters the needs of the school for
the Limited F2F. However, the completion of the facility is still
60% progress. The clinic still needs facilities such as beddings,
ventilation and electrical system, PPE, and other health and
safety paraphernalia to become fully-functional.
General Objective : Complete the School Clinic.

Purchase facilities in the School Clinic such as beddings,

II – PROGRAM CONTENT FOCUS
Content & Scope : School clinic is developed only for the pupils and school
personnel who have seen fever and flu-like symptoms during
official school time. The development of this project is limited
only to purchasing and acquiring facilities of the School Clinic
in order for it to become functional for the Limited Face-to-
Face and for the next learning modalities to come.

Program Title : Steel Frame Safety Signage


Program Description : Safety signs in school provide information about safety, health
or emergency procedures, using a combination of shape, color
and symbols.
Prerequisite Programs : It is distinct from labeling, which conveys information about a
particular hazard in school.
Legal Basis : DepEd Order No. 14 s 2020

DepEd Order No.32 s 2020

Duration : February-March 2022


Target Clients : Learners & Staff
Rationale : Schools are complex environments with high number of safety
sign needs, schools covered that ranges of school signs,
health and safety signs and more to fit any part of the school.
Our school safety signs help to make schools a safer place to
learn. Educational environments are required to display certain
signs on a mandatory basis. Safe schools promote the
protection of students from hazard. School safety is linked to
improve student and school outcomes. In particular, safeties in
school are related to academic performance.
General Objective : The main purpose of signs is to communicate, to convey
information designed to assist the receiver with decision-
making based on information provided.
Specific Objectives: Safety signs are to prevent injury and ensure staff, pupils and
visitors are well aware of the possible dangers and hazards
ahead in certain situations.
End of Program At the end of the program, the school will have a steel frame
Outputs : safety signage.
II – PROGRAM CONTENT FOCUS

Content & Scope : This safety signage applies to design application and use of
signs or symbols that indicate insofar as possible, define
specific hazards that could harm pupils or staff or to property
damage. These specifications are intended to cover all safety
signs in school that may be exposed to hazards. Safety
instructions signs shall be used where there is a need for
general instructions and suggestions relative to safety
measures.
