SURGICAL PATHOLOGY REPORT

SPECIMEN : Gall bladder, Cholecystectomy.

CLINICAL HISTORY : Cholelithiasis.

GROSS : Received poorly fixed, already cut specimen of gall bladder

measuring 6.0 x 2.5 cm. Wall is fibrosed & variably thickened.

Mucosa is denuded. Fragmented yellowish stones are present. No
lymph node is seen.

MICROSCOPY & IMPRESSION : Gall bladder, Cholecystectomy:

- Consistent with chronic cholecystitis with cholelithiasis.

- No evidence of cholesterolosis, granuloma or neoplasia

seen.
