A NARRATIVE REPORT OF THE SHS PARENTS ORIENTATION

At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive
involvement of parents, A quotation from an anonymous author who highlight the role of parents
in school. The first SHS PTA Orientation is conducted last September 10, 2022, at Balatong
Integrated School Quadrangle. It was started 1:49 and ended at exactly 4:28 P.M.

The program started by a prayer through audio-visual presentation prepared by Mr. Jessie
Ramos. After which is an opening remark by Miss Edmalyn Faith D. Ibea in the absence of Mrs.
Jayne E. Ventura. The next part of the orientation is the discussion on the SHS curriculum
presented and explained by Mrs. Maybellinda G. Albano. She discussed about the strands offered
by the school. Next is the explanation of the grading system in the SHS explained by Mr. Dante
M. Teodoro. In the absence of Mrs. Romelyn Mauricio, Mrs. Albano discussed about the
feedbacks to students like cutting classes, over the bakod, and other matters.

At the end of the orientation was Open Forum. Mr. Baloaloa suggested that we shall start
solving the problems of students by disciplining them. Mr. Ramos explained about the
cancellation of classes depending on the Tropical Cyclone Signal as questioned by Mr. Paligat.
Mrs. Aurellano asked about the class schedule of students. Mrs. Albano reiterated that classes in
the morning is from 7:30-11:50 A.M. and 1:00-5:00 P.M in the afternoon. Mr. Ramos ended the
orientation by closing remarks .
