1. What are the 3 most important thing you learned from
this module.

1. Physical and socio-emotional development of children had

shaped a childs future and behavior given that they may use it
for positive improvement.
2. Family environment, community environment including school
plays an important role in shaping the child’s development. So
we need to be aware/ careful about the things that we are
teaching them.
3. The cognitive development of children and how it shapes, both
physical and emotional attribute of the children.

As future teacher, the emotional, social and physical

development of young children has a direct effect on their overall
development and on the adult they will become. That is why
understanding the need to invest in very young children is so
important, so as to maximize their future well-being. As children
develop, they progress through stages characterized by unique ways
of understanding the world. In general this lesson helps the future
teacher understand the cognitive development of the child as the
teacher plans stage-appropriate activities to keep students active in
the future.
In conclusion, As children go through their different stages of
life, they approach learning in different ways. When an educator
has an intricate understanding of human development, they can
use that understanding to make assessments about the behaviours
of children in the classroom.

Cognitive development means how children think,

explore and figure things out. It is the development of
knowledge, skills, problem solving and dispositions
which help children to think about and understand the
world.
Recognized as a graduate of senior high school and
Entering college is the best recognition I’ve got so far.
There are lots of appreciation and blessings that they
gave that motivated and molded me to be mature
enough because they expect something great from me
when in college. For the past few months I have been
trying to be independent because I think I am old
enough to handle myself and make my own decision. I
enrolled English major even though it is my weakness,
but I want to learn because I know the importance of
English nowadays and I want to learn, I want to
challenge myself. I don’t approach my parents anymore
to ask advices to my problems and issues.
Before I enter college I can say that I am innocent
in most of the things. When I entered college last
January 2020, 2nd sem as a first year college with no
idea at all what college exactly it is aside from a school
to learn, I was triggered because I feel like a lost puppy
in a building. I learn to be a loner since I am a late
enrollee but that change the way I see the world.
