Dear colleagues,
In the 20th century, anesthesia was one of the most important
inventions in the history of medicine. In light of these findings, it
is clear that doctors around the world should be able to perform
surgery without any pain when there is a life-threatening case,
thereby improving the quality and life expectancy of human
beings.

At present, one of the key challenges in healthcare is that an

increasing number of high-risk patients undergoing surgical
procedures also have many associated comorbidities. Hence,
preoperative anesthetic techniques, modern anesthetic drugs,
perioperative pain, and faster recovery techniques have all
contributed to development of anesthesia management.

Therefore, we propose an event entitled “Symposium of

Anesthesia and Coexisting Disease” that will aim to update and
increase knowledge about the management of high-risk
patients with certain comorbidities, which will allow us to
achieve the best outcomes possible.

The event also aims to level the playing field for

anesthesiologist across Indonesia. We thought that in the future,
better anesthesia services would be posibble, especially for
high-risk patients.

OPEN FOR RESEARCH AND CASE REPORTS
1. E-poster category consists of case report or case series and original
paper (descriptive, analytic, or experimental study).
2. Participant must submit the e-poster abstract in PDF format to
coexistingbandung@gmail.com.
3. Content of poster presentation
* Case report or case series: must not exceed 200 words, including
background, case report, discussion, conclusion, with five words,
phrases, or acronyms as keyword in Indonesian.
* Original Paper: must not exceed 300 words including introduction,
methods, result, discussion, and conclusion with five words, phrases, or
acronyms as keyword in Indonesian.
4. All posters will be set in portrait style orientation (and all information (i.e.
text, data, photos, and figures) must be designed to appear within one
window/slide.
5. Declaration of Conflict of Interest for all authors; if there are no relevant
conflicts, this must be included on the poster.
6. Contact details (optional), so that interested delegates may contact you.
