“So as not to disrupt the solemnity of the celebration and the spirit of prayer, we
would like to request your cooperation by:

THE LITURGY OF THE WORD

Commentator: Please be seated. Or Please be seated and listen to the Liturgy
of the word.
Commentator reads the introduction of the First Reading, if
there’s any. Then, sits down.

FIRST READING
First Reader: Proclaims the first reading by referring to the misalette.
The word of the Lord.
All: Thanks be to God.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM

Psalmist/First Refer to misalette for the verses.

Reader: No need to say anything after each verse. Hand gesture can only
be done if parishioners do not respond.
All: Refer to misalette for the response.
Commentator must recite the response every after the verse has
been delivered by the Psalmist. Should not wait for the Psalmist to
say, “pls. response.”

 SECOND READING
(During Sunday Mass and a feast celebration during non-Sunday mass only)
Commentator: Commentator stands up then, reads the introduction of the
Second Reading, if there’s any. Then, sits down again.
Second Proclaims the second reading by referring to the misalette.
Reader: The word of the Lord.
All: Thanks be to God.

GOSPEL
Commentator: Stand or remain seated and wait for the priest to stand up, if he
does, say below…
Please rise to honor the Holy Gospel.
If Alleluia will be sang, music will be played when the priest stands
up. When the first part of the music ends, or if Alleluia will NOT be
sang, say the following:
All together… then read the verse before the Gospel (refer to
the misalette)… exclude reciting the alleluia (both at the beginning
and end part) if it has been sang already…
Continue the second part of the song if it has been sang.

Priest: The Lord be with you.

People: And with your spirit.

Priest: A reading from the holy Gospel according to N.

People: Glory to you, O Lord.

Priest: Reads the Gospel

Priest: The Gospel of the Lord.

All: Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

Commentator: Please be seated and listen to the Homily.

Commentator sits down.
Commentator: When the homily is finished, say the ff.
Please rise.

Commentator: Let the priest recite the first phrase of the CREED, no need to use
the mic. The creed below may differ from the one that will be
recited, so, refer to the misalette.

 CREED
All: I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and
earth, of al things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord
Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father
before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from
true God, begotten, not make, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made. For us men and for our
salvation he came down from heaven, (at the words that follow
up to “and became man,” all bow) and by the Holy Spirit was
incarnate of the Virigin Mary, and became man. For our sake he
was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suggered death and was
buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the
Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right
hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the
living and the dead and his Kingdom will have no end. I believe
in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from
the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is
adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prohets. I
believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one
Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the
resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.

PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL

(This will be skipped during non-Sunday Liturgy. In this case, offertory will
commence.)

 THE LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST
(People need not to respond if music will be played, with or without vocal.)

Priest: Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your
goodness we have received the bread we offer you: fruit of the
earth and work of human hands, it will become for us the bread
of life.
People: Blessed be God for ever.

Priest: Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation, for through your
goodness we have received the wine we offer you: fruit of the
vine and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink.

People: Blessed be God for ever.

Commentator: Please rise. (Say this when the Priest is about to return to the
altar table after wiping his hands with the white cloth.)

Priest: Pray, brethren (brothers and sisters), that my sacrifice and yours
may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
People: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands for the praise
and glory of his name, for our good and the good of all his holy
Church.

PRAYER OVER THE OFFERINGS

Priest: Let us pray.

Then the Priest, with hands extended, says the Prayer Over the
Offerings, at the end of which the people acclaim:

People: Amen.

PREFACE
Priest: The Lord be with you.

People: And with your spirit.

Priest: Lift up your hearts.

People: We lift them up to the Lord.

Priest: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

People: It is right and just.

At the end of the Preface he joins his hands and concludes the Preface with the
people, singing or saying aloud:
HOLY
Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts. Heaven and earth are full of
your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in
the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
Commentator: Please kneel.
Then the Priest continues the Eucharistic Prayer.

CONSECRATION

Priest: TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY BODY,
WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.
Priest: TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR THIS IS THE
CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL
COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR
MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF
ME.
Priest: The mystery of faith.

Commentator: Check the misalette in advance, which among the three below will
be recited. If there’s none written in the misalette, coordinate with
the KCFC Leader which among the three will be used.
People: We proclaim your Death, O Lord, and profess your Resurrection
until you come again.
Or: When we eat this Bread and drink this Cup, we proclaim your
Death, O Lord, until you come again.
Or: Save us, Savior of the world, for by your Cross and Resurrection
you have set us free.
Then the Priest continues the Eucharistic Prayer. At the end, he
says the doxology.

DOXOLOGY

Priest: Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, almighty Father,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, for ever
and ever.
People: Amen.

Commentator: Please rise.

 OUR FATHER

All: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy
kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give
us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we
forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Priest: Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace
in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always
free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed
hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
People: For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for
ever.

SIGN OF PEACE

Priest: Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles: Peace I leave you,
my peace I give you; look not on our sins, but on the faith of your
Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance
with your will, Who live and reign for ever and ever.
People: Amen.

Priest: The peace of the Lord be with you always.

People: And with your spirit.

Priest: Let us offer each other the sign of peace.

LAMB OF GOD

Commentator: Use the mic only when reciting the first phrase.
(Recite this if no choir or music. Do not wait for the Priest or
parishioner to start reciting this...)
All: Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy
on us.
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy

Commentator: Please kneel.
Priest: Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of
the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
All: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but
only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Commentator: Read the “Announcement before the communion” and other

announcement(s) is in another sheet
(Start the announcement when the altar server makes the bell.)
--- ANNOUNCEMENT BEFORE THE COMMUNION ---

Japanese: Seitai o hairyou dekiru no wa katorikku no senrei to hatsu seitai

o ukerarete iru kata nomi desu. Go-kibou no kata wa shukufuku o
ukeraremasu node shisai no mae ni, te o awaseta mama o tachi
kudasai.

English: Only those who’ve been baptized in Catholic and who received
first communion can accept the Holy Communion. For those who
wish to receive a blessing from the priest may join the line, just
put both of your arms in front of your chest and bow slightly.

COMMUNION

The Priest raises a host slightly and shows it to each of the communicants, saying:
Priest: The Body of Christ.
Communicant: Amen.

PRAYER AFTER THE COMMUNION

Commentator: (When the communion is finished, the Priest usually sits down.
When he is about to stand up, say the ff.)

Priest: Let us pray.
Then the Priest, with hands extended, says the Prayer After the Communion, at
the end of which the prople acclaim:
