Technical Meeting of Field Study Preparation for English Literature

February 22, 2023, the Head of the UNPAS English Literature Study Program and the staff
held a Technical Meeting with students to discuss preparations for the departure of Field
Study to Bali.
The meeting was led by Erik Rusmana, S.S., M.Hum as the chief executive of the UNPAS
2023 English Literature Trip to Bali program. Attended by 6th semester students of English
literature, the meeting discussed the schedule of events that will be held during the upcoming
trip.
The activity will take for six days starting from February 28 - March 6, 2023 in Bali, was
arranged to fulfill the requirements for passing the Field Study course. The program aims to
deepen understanding and accommodate students regarding the majors they have taken, that
is Journalism, Tourism, and Teaching.
The meeting was opened by providing a briefing on order at the airport with the main
requirement being the mandatory Booster Vaccine. The departure will be held on Tuesday,
February 28 at 09.00 p.m. with a gathering point at campus IV UNPAS Setiabudhi. The
participants to be expected to arrive on time so as not to interfere the trip schedule.
" all participants should be ready in campus at nine p.m" he said.
The meeting continued by presenting the itinerary for the trip. The activities include formal
and informal visits to several places in Bali. Formal visits include the Tribun Bali,
DISPARDA, and Dyatmika School. Informal visits included Tanjung Benoa, Uluwatu,
Pandawa Beach, Penglipuran Village, and several other tourist destinations.
Erik added that the main aspect of this program is the writing of a report based on the results
of the observations while in Bali. In addition, the second task is students are required to find
foreigners in Bali to be interviewed.
The meeting was closed with the distribution of tour shirts to students.
