NAME OF STUDENT: _Aleena Madhu__ CLASS: __11 Sci D____ DIVISION: __D_____
Dear Student,
Sal@h is a firm step to prepare you for life. It is a voluntary project experience. You have to
complete the My Sal@h Promise Form after your activity. Selection of the Sala@h activity,
development, and implementation is the responsibility of each student. Signature of the parent
indicates review and approval of this proposal.
I worked with ‘Thirftforgood’ organization and volunteered at Baby Baazar and Dubai Flea Market for 2
days, where I helped with various tasks. My responsibilities included sorting and organizing donated
clothing and accessories, handling the money purse, assisting customers with their purchases, and
contributing to the store's mission of promoting sustainability and affordability in fashion. It was a
fulfilling experience that allowed me to support the community while learning valuable retail and
teamwork skills.
4) WHAT CHANGES YOU SEE IN YOURSELF IN TERMS OF BEHAVIOUR, LIFESTYLE ETC. AFTER THIS PROJECT?
It has been a valuable learning experience for me. I have acquired many practical skills such as inventory
management, customer service, retail operations, and teamwork. These skills can be useful for personal
development and future employment opportunities.
5) HOW DID THIS ACTIVITY OR PROJECT BENEFIT OTHERS? HOW DO YOU ENSURE THEY CONTINUE TO GET THESE
BENEFITS EVEN AFTER THE PROJECT?
By selling thrifted clothes, we provide affordable clothing options to individuals and families who may be on a tight
budget. This helps them access quality clothing without straining their finances. Thrifted clothes are a sustainable
and eco-friendly alternative to fast fashion.
6) DETAILS OF THE BENEFICIARY. ANY SIGNIFICANT COMMENT RECEIVED FROM THEM. (if possible)

7) WHAT WERE THE PROBLEMS FACED? WHAT MIGHT YOU DO DIFFERENTLY TO IMPROVE?
Some problems faced while selling clothes were dealing with certain customers who kept bargaining and expected
the prices of items to be reduced for them. I dealt with such customers by keeping a strong stance and not falling for
their bargaining tricks
